MATUSADONA AND LAKE KARIBA

Lake Kariba, one of the largest artificial water-body on the continent, has been created after the construction of Kariba damwall, across a narrow passage of the Zambezi river. On its southern shoreline, after one of the hugest animals’ resque operations (Ops Noah) the Matusadona National Park has been created: wild, rugged and rich in fauna, which includes lions, buffaloes, elephants and black rhinos.
